Check out the 70mai m310. Its pretty cheap and has good video quality
If you want the best possible front view and rear view, a combination of a Viofo A229Pro (4k) paired with a RTC300 Tele-camera (2k) and RC300 rear camera (2k) is as good as it gets as of now.
I’ve got a BlackVue 750X Plus, wouldn’t recommend. Video quality is pretty average.
Last September I did lots of research to find a good dash cam and I settled on a Red Tiger 4K on Amazon. At the time I paid ~$177 AUD. It’s both front and rear. Good quality image. Easy to install and has an app for phone too.
Look into the ROVE R2-4K DUAL Dash Cam Front and Rear. It seems to have the right bells and whistles and is about 130.
I have a Uniden 3-In-1 Dash Camera - 4K Ultra HD Smart Dash Cam with FULL HD Rear View and Internal Cabin Camera. DASHVIEW40R. It's in the AUD $400 range. I'm happy with it.
Quality is good, not 4k but more than good enough to pick up license plates. Was an easy install too.
I was just looking at the Blackview 970 plus. Looks great, and I'm heavily leaning towards it!
I haven’t found anything better than the cobra sc400 d. it has a big lens unlike most of these smaller 4k cams.
It records in 4K, and the price is really reasonable for the quality you get.
I got the dual channel ROVE 4k dashcam and highly recommend it.
Arguably has the best night mode at 4k.
Video quality is not exactly top of the line but it's clear enough.
It's $300 but 4K quality and does a really good job with reading the plates.

I have the VIOFO A119 V3 front dashcam and it's been great at only $150, recommended them to my family members and the footage has proved us to be not at fault in an insurance claim.
The A119v3 is a basic model with good picture quality. The polarised filter helps greatly with glare and reflections.
Footage is great as well.
Very cost effective and good video quality.
It’s a great camera with super good clear videos.
best video quality of any dashcam.
Image quality is OK, but there is no GPS information on the image.
I did a front only - FitCamX, looks factory stock. Gets power from the sunroof so no wires hanging out, easy install, good resolution.
Works great and looks good.
It struggles with license plate captures. It overexposes a lot during sunny days so it's shiny and makes license plates hard to read at times. Also blurry footage at night.
I installed a 4K one on my vehicle recently.
I have the FitCamX (front) and it looks like OEM (factory). 4k and SD storage. It gets power from the sunroof, so you do not need to do extra install. Highly recommend it.

strongly recommend VIOFO A229 because it comes in dual channel and has a newer sensor with better video quality.
Viofo has been perfect for me. Really good picture quality, and when I actually got rear-ended I was able to easily connect to the dash cam from my phone and download the video.
Get that VIOFO, nice video quality.
I love my viofos. I've had numerous others before that did the job, but picture quality IMO has always been the best on viofo.
